In August, Treaty Oak Clean Energy, LLC, an Austin, Texas-based solar energy company, reached out to the Sheridan School District to sponsor the Yellowjacket football program.
But the donation came with a due-diligence process first.
The company specifically asked whether any district board members or executive staff were related to Grant County's judge or Quorum Court, according to documents obtained through a Freedom of Information request.
