Grant County Judge Randy Pruitt announced at the July Quorum Court meeting that Clean Cloud Energy found an end user for the proposed $6-12 billion data center near Sheridan.
EdgeConneX, according to Pruitt, is in negotiations with Clean Cloud and Grant County to be the end user, which is the tenant, company, or organization that owns, leases, or operates the servers and digital equipment inside the data center.
According to a June PowerPoint presentation by Pruitt and two of his data center advisors to a group of county judges in Little Rock, the proposed Sheridan data center will be 750+ acres with a solar farm of 3,200+ acres with an Entergy 500kV transfer station.
